Position Description & Summary:
The Integration and Test Lead plays a critical role in supporting TAPE’s effort to support the US Army. You must enjoy developing test scenarios, performing test events, and documenting test results. You will report to our Program Manager and support the team’s needs accordingly.
As the Integration and Test Lead, you will lead our program integration and testing efforts. You will use development and/or production hardware and software to test or validate the system. Responsibilities include:
  • Demonstrating the engineering design and development process is complete
  • Design risks have been minimized
  • System meets or exceeds specifications
  • Provide test data that will be used to evaluate trade-offs against requirements, lifecycle costs, and schedule.
  • Evaluate the achievement of supporting sustainability goals and the adequacy of supporting packages
  • Perform verification testing and acceptance testing
  • Use system documentation to determine and document application requirements
  • Determine that both hardware and software requirements are verifiable and quantifiable
  • Write test plans and builds test cases based upon system requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in engineering discipline or Bachelor’s degree with 15 years’ experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience at demonstrably increasing levels of responsibility, with 3+ years of experience in systems testing.
  • Must have the ability to build test data sets and performs Manual Systems Acceptance Tests according to approved test plan
  • Experience in the development of test scenarios and providing support for User Acceptance Testing
  • Experienced in writing test summaries and test problem reports
  • Demonstrated experience in leading test readiness and release readiness meetings
  • Ability to apply approved technical approaches to testing to ensure that applications are evaluated in an analytical and systematic manner
  • Experience in assisting developers in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Must have or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Candidate must be in Orlando, FL area, no relocation assistance available. Work may involve testing conducted at customer location.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Must have a strong understanding of the DoD’s and Army’s requirements.
  • Must have a working knowledge of DoD test procedures and their governing regulations and requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with external customer representatives and internal customers
  • Must work well as part of a team and have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work with system users who may not be knowledgeable in test procedures and assist in user acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army operations, training, and development or related systems is highly desirable.
