Position Description & Summary:
The BCS-F system must be maintained within the IA specifications of the governing body of the Air Force and specifically the Designated Authorizing Authority (DAA) for the BCS-F program. The role is to augment the government in validating, on a continual basis, the systems security and protections required to maintain security. Test, document, and provide verification artifacts in order to demonstrate that all system deliverables comply with DoD and AF IA policy, specifically DoDI 8500.2, and AFI 33-200. Test, document, and when necessary modify systems in order to maintain compliance with DoD and AF Certification and Accreditation policy, DoDI 8510.01, and AFI 33-210 and AFI 33-210. Support activities to meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure and Public Key Enabling. Validate all application deliverables comply with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Application Security & Development Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
Direct, perform and support Information Assurance (IA) activities including but not limited to Security Test and Evaluation (STE).
Direct, perform and support Data Link Interoperability Certification, and other C4ISP Certifications.

Minimum Position Requirements
  • Customer and Program experience:  Either 5+ years’ demonstrated work experience with Defense Sector Radar technology as systems administrator, system operator, system IA functional, and/or system maintenance engineer OR
    8 (eight) years’ experience in hardware and software systems administration tasks.
  • Prefer past performance supporting US Government (DOD) customer.
Education/Certifications Required by Contract:
  • Degree requirements:  Bachelors with 5 years’ experience OR  8 years’ experience with IA technology and requirements.
  • CISSP (or qualified to obtain within first year of employment)
  • Security+
