Position Description/ Summary:
The Requirements/UX Analyst is the intermediary between the business users and the production support team.  Provides functional knowledge and perspective to the enterprise-wide IT solution team. May be called upon to facilitate participation of the client’s functional specialists.  Also provides functional knowledge for business process re-engineering and implementation of best IT and business practices. Supports functional lead for requirements definition to the IT system development project and supports fit/gap analyses of GOTS and COTS software. Participates in business case development by supporting identification of functional impacts for alternative solutions.  This role will be performed as part of a long-term application management support team doing support, break-fix, and minor enhancement work.
  •  Must have a very good understanding of emerging technology,  and business goals
  • Main tasks are to conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and then use the gathered information to create requirement documentation, wireframes and prototypes

Minimum Experience Required:
  • Experience consulting with clients to understand their goals and explaining research results
  • Experience analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience 
  • Working knowledge of all phases of software design and devlopment in an Agile or TDD environment
  • Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability  
  • Candidate must work well individually (under supervision) and as part of a team      
  • Must possess strong creative, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Candidates need excellent English written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers
Desired qualifications:
  • Experience working with Department of Defense clients
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
 Education and Certification Requirements: 
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
