Position Description/Summary:
The Diligent Team at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma is seeking a motivated and driven junior to mid-level Software Quality Assurance (S/W Tester) looking to significantly grow their career. The primary duty is to create and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases (both functional and technical); conduct and oversee various levels of testing a project team member to assist in the performance of software testing procedures on application software to ensure customer’s requirements are met, all errors are identified, and errors are corrected before release to clients. QAs will accomplish this by piecing together data from multiple sources such as requirements specifications, documented email and phone conversations, design documents, etc. Duties will also include reviewing requirements and design test cases to validate each, provide feedback on requirements, and hold reviews for Test Cases and Reports. Analysts will execute validation for software and validation testing for software development and released software already in production. QA will also report progress in regularly scheduled meetings as well as directly to site manager when necessary and interact with a team of technically minded people in a professional environment. The team also provides daily validation and operational tasks as required.

Minimum Practical Experience and Knowledge Required
  •  Able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
  • Ability to explain, understand and document complex scenarios
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • US Citizen
  • At least 1 year of manual testing experience and/or 1 year of software development experience coupled with a drive to learn new tools and technologies in software testing
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Active government clearance (NACI/Secret)
  • Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of manual testing experience and/or 2-4 years of software development experience coupled with a drive to learn new tools and technologies
