Position Description/Summary:
Deployment Infrastructure Specialist will coordinate and ensure readiness across all units deploying on MROi (IMS Unique ID – 11295).  This resource will coordinate with all locations a minimum of 180 days prior to Go Live. A full task listing to include actions required by the government will be in our Implementation Checklist. Some tasks include:
  • Site level software and hardware version assessment: Compares required MROi software and hardware versions against current base versions. Identifies issues and provides mitigations and/or workarounds depending on specific base requirements. Not all bases will be able to upgrade versions and this assessment helps determines the appropriate workarounds to balance MROi vs legacy base system needs. 
  • Monthly re-assessments to ensure on-going compliance with MROi version requirements: Ensures that a system or desktop upgrade after version assessment does not impact Go Live. 
  • Leadership Infrastructure Readiness Dashboard: Provides insight across all units deploying to MROi. Details readiness in an easily consumable Red/Yellow/Green stoplight view to show each organizations technology readiness for MROi. Begins 180+ days prior to Go-Live
Minimum Position Requirements: 
  • Air Force Logistics Experience (desired)
  • Experience with Requirements and Fit-Gap Analysis 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong software Application Experience (i.e. Prior High Level Service Desk Experience)
  • Up to 25% travel may be required

Certifications/Education: 
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems (strongly preferred)
