Position Description/Summary:
The Senior Business Financial Analyst is part of the Operations staff and will support Executives, Directors, Project Managers and other company resources. The successful candidate develops proposal pricing models, provides program control, develops and manages operational budgeting, forecasting and planning, and provides various administrative assistance support. The Analyst will actively participate as a consultant on the team supporting multiple contracts, projects, or tasks. Establish and maintain internal controls to support the financial infrastructure. Present financial reporting and potential risk areas to senior management. Oversee accounting, financial reporting (including EVMS), analysis and preparation of the consolidated financial statements.
  • Monitors and provides financial analysis of projects and programs to determine their operating efficiency 
  • Maintains and analyzes project costs and schedules and assist with budget, forecast and cost control functions 
  • Ensures all financial billing, invoicing, reporting is accurate and timely IAW CDRLs and DRDs within the MROi Task Order 
  • Creates and analyzes financial reporting and forecasting to meet customer contractual requirements 
  • Conducts research and provide inputs to program financial management including: budget formulation and management for all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution process; budget and financial analysis; obligation and expenditure forecasting; funds management, funds status, and funds control techniques and/or systems; and accounting and finance systems and/or procedures. 
  • Provides financial expertise in the development, analysis, and maintenance of the master integrated program schedule 
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and analysis techniques.
Minimum Position Requirements: 
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience and a Master’s degree in related field, or a minimum of 10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree. 
    Experience in the management of project/program budget and cost control functions including budgeting, estimating and forecasting 
  • This senior position typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.  
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other standard (Customer specified) applications. 
  • Demonstrated experience with DOD Contracts, EVMS  and Financial Analyst experience highly preferred. 
Certifications/Education: 
  • Bachelors Degree in Financial Management or similar (preferred)
