Position Description/Summary:
.Net web developer, with 5 to 7 years’ experience, that will be primarily responsible for designing, developing and maintaining web applications. Must be self-motivated and have strong communication skills. Have the ability to work with a development team and have experience with paired programming.  Provide services to support both the development of custom applications and the modification and enhancement of existing applications. Translate business requirements into intuitive software solutions. Participate within an Agile (Scrum) development team. Collaborate with fellow IT and software developers while building knowledge base. Participate in technical design discussion and hands-on solution implementation. Keep a critical eye on new design specifications and raise quality, performance or architectural concerns.  Mentor other developers with a constructive, results oriented approach.
Perform programming activities, which include developing design specifications; prototyping; recommend migration and portability to match platform requirements; testing, debugging, verification and quality standard confirmation; source code management; user interfaces design; training and documentation; peer reviews of system configurations, standards and procedures. Utilize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile industry best practices. Adhere to a consistent software architecture for all applications, which will be primarily based on the Microsoft .NET Framework

Minimum Position Requirements:
  • US Citizenship 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are a must 
  • High energy, proactive and approachable personality who enjoy solving diverse problems 
  • Proven problem solving abilities and creative thinking
  • At least 5-7 years of Software development experience with C#
  • Experience with the following technologies: C#, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, CSS, Bootstrap, and JSON
  • Ability to positively interact with all members of development team and have paired programming experience.
  • Thorough understanding of object oriented development
  • Self-starter capable of working on small teams
  • Experience working with Oracle or SQL Server
  • Familiarity with developing or working in a Windows environment (Visual Studio, TFS)
  • Experience using technologies and tools such as: SharePoint, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Agile/Scrum

Education/Certifications Required:
  • Active government clearance (Secret)
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
