Position Description/Summary:
Diligent Consulting is seeking an Applications Programmer that will work directly with a diverse team of experts to satisfy the evaluation and testing requirements for a variety of government software programs - specifically with Remote Re-Key or RRK product.  The types of work required to accomplish this objective are as follows:
  • Analyze software deficiencies and apply technical expertise to trouble shoot and modify software 
  • Software coding and debugging 
  • Load new/modified executable software and crypto algorithms 
  • Perform Unit Level Testing, System Level Testing, Integration Testing and Acceptance
  • Testing of products 
  • Develop and maintain product documentation 
  •  Assist in developing project plans and developing schedules for completion of tasks 
  •  Assist with customer support
In addition, an ideal candidate must also support a full range of integration evaluation (to include system performance tuning and re-hosting) activities for currently fielded systems, to include maintenance releases and development releases provided by approved third party developers.  

The types of experience required to accomplish this objective are as follows:
  • Fields: Software programming, Embedded programming, Cryptography, Database programming, Database analysis and design 
  • Languages: C, C++, C#, JAVA, .Net Framework, Assembly, Green Hills 2000 IDE, Perl, JavaScript, T-SQL, PL-SQL, SQL, ODBC, SMNP, IP Protocol, VHDL 
  • Applications: Visual Studio, Apache, ClearCase, Subversion, CVS Version Manager, Oracle, GlassFish Server, MS SQL 
  • Operating Systems: Green Hills Real Time, Windows Server, Unix, Linux, Cisco IOS
Minimum Position Requirements:
Experience in systems and applications full system life cycle management.  Expertise includes systems integration, gap analysis, knowledge management, portal and web development, project management; business requirements analysis; strategic and tactical planning; MSFT portal design, portal implementation, systems architecture and systems integration.
  •  Proven track record of being able to deliver the most difficult system related projects 
  • Self-motivator and problem solver with skill accomplishing simultaneous tasks while performing under pressure. 
  • Hard working mentor and quick learning student with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Top notch written and oral communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology
