Position Description/Summary:
  • Manages and maintains the CM environment for software product build, staging, testing and integration
  • Works with customers and Program Management to resolve configuration issues
  • Produces status reports, maintenance notifications, application trouble tickets, and change request status updates
  • Assists Configuration Manager in maintaining an Integrated Configuration/Change Control System; tracks and controls changes in configuration item baselines.
  • Implements established Configuration Management Plans (CMP)
  • Updated, documents, and maintains the currency of release management processes and procedures
  • Primary duty as a QA member is to assist in the performance of software testing procedures on application software to ensure customer's requirements are met, all errors are identified, and errors are corrected to customer's satisfaction.
  • Executes validation testing for software updates
  • Provides daily validation and operational tasks as required

Minimum Position Requirements:
  • US Citizenship
  • Able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
  • Expertise in the use of MS Windows and Office products
  • Proficient in the use of SharePoint
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
  • Active government clearance (Secret)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
  • 1-3 years experience in configuration management
  • Experience using technologies and tools such as: BMC products such as CMDB and EITSM
  • Self-driven; able to work without direct supervision
