Job Description/Summary:
The Training Specialist will be responsible for instruction of Cyber related training, serves as a Cyberspace Operations Training Developer/Instructor to analyze, design, and develop, cyberspace operations course of instruction.  

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Provide training and input for DCO training and curriculum development in order to sense, detect, deter, deny and respond to methods of intrusion, TTPs (new, used, and unidentified), malicious behaviors, and corrective actions
  • Extensive knowledge in cyberspace Operations, and also have a moderate to extensive background experience in training and capabilities development as a Training Developer/Instructor
  • Knowledge of DoD Cyberspace missions, organizational make-up, goals and objectives of Joint Training System, and various instructional design and evaluation models 
  • Experience with, or well versed in any of the following disciplines: computer programming/scripting, networking and security, packet analysis, network defense and attack, penetration testing, Windows command-line interface, Windows registry and security, LINUX Solaris command-line interface, VMWare, computer forensics, malware analysis, Windows and auditing and logging. 
  • Solid understanding of network topologies and architecture
  • Working closely with course managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME), contractor analyzes, designs and develop instructional material for Cyberspace Operations.
  • Plans, schedules, and delivers customized training programs and materials for all organizational levels, technical topics and other identified areas, and evaluates effectiveness of organizational development education solutions.
Minimum Practical Experience and Knowledge Required: 
  • Must have certifications to meet DoD 8570 Compliance Level II
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • Knowledge of Information Assurance and Security principles
  • Be able to pass client training and certification program and maintain certification in accordance with their documented guidelines and policies
  • Effective customer communication skills
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Security, Computer Science, or equivalent 
  • Active CISSP Certification
