CyProTech is committed to “Enabling Success” of our client’s missions.  As such, we are searching for the right candidate to work independent and in a team environment performing security analysis utilizing various defense technologies to find and eradicate security threats to our client systems.  In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying unique threat capabilities and then taking those through a defined process to improve automated identification capabilities.  This position will require someone who can think freely, be investigative in nature, and solve difficult problems.  If you want to help defend our nation against many of the cyber threats it faces, then we have a position for you.   

Job Description/Summary:
This position will provide Unit Line Maintenance Support defined as day-to-day operations such as installing, hardware, software and peripheral equipment following design or installation specifications.   
  • Maintain network configuration diagrams of network components
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, document, resolve and report problems as they are encountered with industry standards and methodologies. 
  • Advised security recommendations for mission and support functions 
  • Backup and restore application and operation system software and data
  • Establish and maintain all assets including: firewalls, Domain Name Server (DNS), Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), Exchange services, routers, Storage Area Networks (SANs), and Cross Doman Solutions (CDS).  
  • Integrate approved Assessment tools
  • Document and track configuration and assets. 
  • Test tools, network subsystems and interfaces.  
Minimum Practical Experience and Knowledge Required: 
  • Must have certifications to meet DoD 8570 compliance level II
  • Associate’s degree or minimum 4 years’ experience
  • Have or acquire within 6 months a MCSE or MCTS certification 
  • Knowledge of Information Assurance and Security principles
  • Be able to pass client training and certification program and maintain certification in accordance with their documented guidelines and policies
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Security, Computer Science, or equivalent 
  • US Air Force (or other military) experience in an aircrew training related discipline is highly desired.
